This is a CSO: Civil Support Operations interoperability exercise inclusive of NYG SDF, NYNM, DHSES, DHS SHARES and CAP ALL operating under DHS SHARES. SHARES operators will be collecting CSM: County Status Messages from each NY/NJ county. Our objective is to collect CSM's for all 62/NY and 21/NJ counties.
Both NY/NJ ARES/RACES, and ARS Radio Operators are encouraged to submit an ICS-213 CSM: County Status Message via voice for their respective county on HF 60 Meter CH5 as follows:
Monitor: HF 60 Meters CH 5 (USB 5403.5 MHZ) Friday, 29 through Saturday, 30 May Daily 1200-1430 EST.
Voice Call: An assigned NY/NJ ARS station will take your ICS-213 CSM voice message traffic. We will ask for each plain language line item entry of the ICS-213 CSM message template attached below. The receiving station will copy each CSM line entry as sent via voice by the sending station using the attached template.

WINLINK: Send your NY CSM via WINLINK to and NJ CSM to before ENDEX. Please list your amateur call sign, state and county in the subject line of your WINLINK CSM email message. Either TELNET or RMS/CMS WINLINK is acceptable. We are looking for "Real World" CSM reporting for your respective NY/NJ Town/County. Use LINE19/REMARKS for any additional info.
There is now a loaded CSM Template under WINLINK Standard Forms. Go to "Select Standard Templates", then Select "NY&NJ State Forms; then Select "CSM County Status". This added WINLINK template is standardized for use by any state/county.
Remember, Its all training until the day it isn't. Are we ready for that day?
