Hi Everyone,

Some time ago, I made up this document and profile for Netlogger. Since then, we have moved the site that hosts the file to this site. Because of that, new instructions have been created to help with the transition to the new site and also to help new users of this profile get it installed on their computer. The procedure is a simple one but please read the instructions carefully as it is critical that the spelling and the path names be exact for this to work.

Download copies of these instructions as a Word Document or PDF File here.

Thanks to Matt Lacy we now have a new home for our Netlogger club profile file. I will attempt to give step by step instructions for creating the club profile file and downloading the new one.
While every attempt was made to make this document accurate, something could have been missed. Please notify if you find any errors. Thanks to Pete – KC2WI and Matt – KD2TBS for helping to test the accuracy of these instructions and get this file hosted in it's new location.

1.) Start Netlogger (If it’s not already running.)
2.) From the menu on top select "Setup" and then "Club Profile..." The "Club Profile Setup" window should now be visible on your screen.
a. If you DO NOT have a NNYNets profile, skip steps 3 and 4 and go directly to step 5 otherwise proceed to step 3 to continue.
3.) In the dropdown box, choose NNYNets.
4.) Click Delete .
5.) Click Create . A new box that says "Create Club Profile" will open.
6.) In the "Profile Name" box type the name NNYNets.prf
. Note: YOU MUST TYPE THIS EXACTLY AS SHOWN HERE OT IT WILL NOT WORK, IT IS CASE SENSITIVE!

7.) Hit the tab key or click the mouse to go to the "Profile URL (optional)" box.
8.) In the "Profile URL (optional)" box type the following url http://netlogger.nnyarrl.org/NNYNets.prf .
Note: YOU MUST TYPE THIS EXACTLY AS SHOWN HERE OT IT WILL NOT WORK, IT IS CASE SENSITIVE!

9.) Click on the "OK" button at the bottom of the window. After you click "OK" that window will close and you will be back to the "Club Profile Setup" window.
10.) Click on the down arrow under the "Auto Profile Change" box. A drop down box will now open up. Scroll down until you see "NNYNets" and select it. You should now see "NNYNets" listed in the box that was previously empty.
11.) Press the "Select" button on the bottom left of the "Club Profile Setup" window. The window will now disappear.
12.) To verify that you have selected the file you can now select "Setup" and then "Club Profile..." The "Club Profile Setup" window should now be visible on your screen. The "Club Profile Setup" setup window will open again and in the window you should see "[MISC]NNYNets" listed after "Default Profile:" and "Current Profile:" Note: you may not see it as default profile if you have something else selected as a default it should be listed as the current profile.
13.) Now, click on the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the "Club Profile Setup" window to close the window.
14.) Go back to the top menu and select "Function" and then "Download Latest Club Profile". A new window with the title "Netlogger" should open.
15.) In the window it will say "Club Profile File:MiscProfiles/NNYNets.prf" and on the next line it will say "Overwrite Club Profile?" Select the "Yes" button on the bottom right of the window.
16.) Close Netlogger, and restart it to see any changes in the new profile.

Congratulations! You are all set to use the NNYNets profile with the North Country Group Net and other NNY nets that use this profile with Netlogger.
